We have a majestic 360 also and have had nothing but trouble. Not only did it start on fire in my wife’s hand, it shorted out more than once. We would rather have our money back then use this machine. This is the most expensive piece of junk that we have ever owned. We would not ever recommend this vacume to anyone.

  4. I paid big money for the majestic m360 which run hot from the beginning and I cannot get anybody on the phone where I purchased the unit from. They say the number is no longer in service. They told at first it was normal to run hot. This unit scares me and I cannot get anybody on the phone for the recall. This is ridiculous and all I get is an answering machine no matter when I call. What kind of a junk company is this anyway?

  5. Susan Gamble says:

I also have a Majestic and it also started to get really hot to touch and it started to smoke. I thought I was the only one but thank GOD I am not and it should get taken care of right away. Before something bad happens to someone.Plus this is the only vaccumm I own.

  6. Mary Lou Savage says:

I purchased both the Majestic vacuum & the air purifier in December of 2006. The air purifier won’t work at all. I replaced the filter & but it still does not work. After paying over $3,000 for these 2 products it is one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. I intend to contact the Better Business Bureau to report this company.

  7. Joan McCarron says:

I want a total refund for my Filter Queen and the Air purifier

  8. I bought vacuum and air purifier (at a significant cost) three years ago and love it. I have five pets which I am allergic to and a husband with Asthma. Since these products both issues have been greatly reduced. I intend to follow up in regards to the voluntary recall but am still happy I own mine. I am sorry that not everyone has had the positive experience that my family and I have had.

  9. Lynette Thomas says:

I too have had nothing but trouble with the Filter Queen and the Air Purifier. I would like a refund for both units as they are no longer any good to me. I have been in contact with the recall department and am getting no where. I will contact the Better Business Bureau to get results if needed.

  10. I have nothing but good things to day about my Filter Queen. Best vacuume in the world hands down. We have gone through quite a few different vacuume’s before our Queen and the others are not even close. Mine is not a 360 though its older than that.

  11. Venson Thomas says:

I’m a johnny come lately as regards this matter but would like a clearer description of the Filter Queen problem. Your article does not clarify whether the problem lies in the hose wiring, the power nozzle or the motor unit itself. That’s neither good nor responsible reporting.

  13. We have had this problem from short circuiting since 2004 onwards. no fix has fixed it yet despite filter queen trying. it burnt my hand, my carpet and could have burnt my house as the curtain started smouldering. This Machine has been sold in New Zealand where im from with a lifetime guarantee. The service guy in Auckland has been outstanding but at the end of the day this machine although brilliant in performance is of the worst quality built…James

  14. Has anyone gotten a response from the company? I’ve called many times since February 2011 and they keep saying that they will call me when they get the parts and mine is ready to to shipped to me. It is now nearly the end of May. I am going to call them again. I also had arcing and shorting in mine but fortunately, it quit working before it did any damage.
The recall hotline is never checked anymore. I waited 2 weeks after leaving a message on it then called the company.
I’ve been happy with my vacuum until all this happened except for the fact that I paid way too much for it and the air purifier.
I’m tired of borrowing vacuums from everyone.
