My kitchenaid stand mixer is almost 33 years old and I wonder whether it’s worth repairing. It needs a new electrical cord and now it only has 1 speed–FAST! It makes great whipping cream. Seriously, I can’t do anything with it now. I have almost all the attatchments that go with it and hate to get rid of it. Thanks for your reply.

my crockpot that i got two years ago for a wedding present over heats and burns around the edges. is there anyone/anywhere to take it to, to have somebody look at it?

It seems that most crock pots do this to some extent, you might need to adjust the liquids. Also, does it happen on only the high setting?

You didn’t mention who manufactured your crockpot, so I can’t give you a number, but I suggest you call the 800 number that is likely listed in the manual that came with the crockpot. The customer service representative might be able to help you.

even i have the same problem. If i rotate the bush & then start, then the mixie works. but not always. When i enquired with the shop in chennai they said that the cup may be loose. But i cant find any repair centres for kenstar. If u come to know anything please inform me.

Hi: I bought an electronic wine cooler made by “Chambrer”. It doesn’t have a normal compressor and it cools somewhat less than a normal fridge, but it uses less electricity and is completely quiet. I thought I would give it a try. It workrd well for a year and is now dead. Does anyone know anything about repairs to these electronic or digital fridges? Are they worth repairing or are there parts you can replace yourself?

You probably have a compressor start relay problem.

We have bought a Sears Kenmore Elite dishwashermodel #665.13153K761 for $2500 in December 2007. Twice it has broken. Today, I spent 2 hours on hold to get a simple repair code. We will never buy Sears again (after having bought nothing but kenmore and sears items for over 15 years). It is useless to buy an item only to be treated this disasterously. I truly cannot say enough harmful and damaging things about Sears and their poor service and products!!!!

I have a kenmore elite oasis washer top load that has an error code of F1. Can you give me any advice on the cause. We have a matching dryer that had been replaced within the first year because they changed out the cpu boards twice. About a year ago they replaced the cpu board on our washer. Are they having problems with the cpu boards?

I have a 23yr. old Oster Kitchen Center in need of repair. The electronic system seems to have a short in it. Works when it wants to. Can’t find a repair place in my area. (West Palm Beach, FL)

You can ask about shipping it to one of them for repair, or find a small appliance repairman in your neighborhood.

Refrigerator stops cooling
Dear Sir
WE had bought a Whirlpool Refrigerator.
But for the last 2 month the refrigerator stops working, where the cooling stops in both compartments, ice gets melt and the food inside gets perished.
We had logged complaints a lot of times, but all the times the executive is not able to provide any solution. WE are now totally dissatisfied with this refrigerator. We would like the company to take an immediate actions either to repair the refrigerator to our satisfaction or to replace the same.
Would appreciate the immediate action.

Worlds No 1 bad Company,Product!!!!
I lodged complaint against slow running of blower,burnt smell from cooler which is under Warranty on 22/9/09,after repeatedly complaining against the same So called Kenstar Service person (Ph;9845204595) came on 3/10/2009,he opened the cooler,said that,motor burnt,He recklessly cut the wires inside the cooler and replaced the motor which he bought with himself. WHILE CHECKING HE FOUND THAT REPLACED MOTOR ALSO NOT WORKING!!!!, He told himself that this motors are very poor quality….He promised me that he will come after two days.till today he haven’t visited again.i again contacted customer care,they told me that,they are giving me new COMPLAINT NO!!!!!!!, they also started cheating me by giving false informations.for god sake I have recorded all the conversations,Now i think,my air cooler is Unsafe to Use although it got repaired,since unsafe Cut wire joints and it has to work in humid condition, I claim for replacement,otherwise,i will burn this Kenstar product in the middle of a busy Street with Banners, showing my records to the public and i think Protest is only way for such works.Pls support me ……
