Black spots and residue on dishwasher seems to be very pathetic. One of the reasons for this problem is using hard detergent for dishwasher. I read that a product called lemishine can help, but I haven't tried it.

I don't think the water is hard enough to throw things off, but I can't rule it out.  What could be the cause of this?  Thanks in advance.
