I would never buy anything made by whirlpool ever again. Take 5 min. to look at there Facebook page and you will see. I have had them out 3 times on my dishwasher and now my refrigerator needs a compressor that they will not cover. Refrigerators should last more then 18 months. If you do buy whirlpool make sure you buy every warrenty you can because you will need it. Viking is the best for my money but very pricey.

hi there!

Jenn-Air is a high end line made by Whirlpool. Very good stuff, not quite to the level as say Subzero or Wolf, but easy to get service for and pretty durable. Jenn-Air has a dishwasher that accepts a wood panel, and normally the dishwasher comes FREE with current promos in the U.S.

I would not recommend a Best by Broan hood-Ventahood is FAR better-quieter, efficient, easy to clean, and 100% fireproof.

I have experienced using a Jenn air brand and it's good.

Anyways, the the life of your appliances is in your hands. If you're not going to take car of them, no matter how good the brand is, it will still break.

My husband and I are shopping for new appliances since we are remodeling our kitchen. We think we like the Jenn-Air brand. We need an electric cooktop, a wall oven and built in microwave, and frig. For the dishwasher, we are looking at a Miele since we want a wooden inset panel on it. We are looking at a Best by Broan hood insert. Does anyone have experience with there brands?
