It is a dual fuel unit that someone traded in to a company that I did some work for.  I think the customer had the unit for around 2 years and said they never "liked" the way it cooked. I have not had any problems with it. It has 4 surface burners with a griddle.

Like the previous post said, your surface units will be of higher BTU's than a normal stove top, and most will have a low simmer setting. I myself have a DCS [Design Cooking System]  stove that I have been very pleased with.

They usually have very high BTUs and things like continous grates so you can slide pots around.
