We love our Wolfe range. It is a pain for those that have this recalled model, but from everything I heard about Wolfe, they stand 100% behind thier American made products and will make everything right. We need more firms like Wolfe that apply American know-how to products made here in the USA and keep good jobs in the US. I encourage everyone to buy Wolfe!
On Nov 13, 2008 I received a safety recall for my
Model #R484CG-LP Serial Number 11190097.
My zip code is 33990.
Please advise with regard to repair.
I have a single door six (6) burner Wolfe Gas range and the identical thing has started happening to it! My wife has been complaining about it I haven’t had time to see if I could find out if something was blocking the sensor or other. My wife is visiting my son and I had to heat something in the oven and let me tell you that I can understand why she is complaining. It took forever and as you might expect, it just about blows the door off!! I purchased my range from Anchor Appliance on Rte 9 in West Creek, New Jersey about 4 years ago. I will tell my wife not to use the Oven now that I Know just how violent it is.
