OK, The reason I asked for the numbers where the wires plug in is because on the washer side I have a couple of different choices to make. I am really going to need the nimbers off where the wires plug in.

two are on what i would call the back and one on the bottom.

there are two bottom plugs and one is blue with a plastic casing around the end of the wire and the other i now have the yellow wire plugged in.

the other open plug is on the back and right side and I now have the red one plugged in here.

the third is back and left center (another is right next to it with a purple wire with a plastic cased end). i have the white wire on this one.

with the above configuration the washer works great except it won't stop between functions anymore. i got rid of the filling while agitating problem by switching the red and yellow wires. i left the white one where it is but I don't know where else to put it....

thanks and I am sorry i don't have numbers at this time. if this doesn't help then I will try to get them later. thanks again.

i recently replaced a roller in my dryer (stackable unit) and in the process pulled out a few wires from the control panel off the knob section and do not know where they go. i see three open slots and have three wires. it wasn't working at all so I plugged them in randomly and it works weirdly now.....

it is a maytag lse7804ace. the wires are yellow, white, and a short red one. the washer agitates while filling with water and will not stop at the end of the process. it just starts over on a different function (ie. perm press then starts on knits, then white, or whatever).

my wife has mixed emotions.

can anyone help me, please?????
