For the duration of the wash and rinse cycles, it would fill with water, toss the clothes a couple of times, then drain and refill (simultaneously) then toss a couple times, then drain and refill... and repeat.  There was no error message, but I would think that it would just fill once and toss for 10-15 minutes straight. 

Is this normal functioning for the LG combo machines?  It doesn't seem right to me, but I want some input before I contact a repairman.

(PS - does "Cd" on the display after the dryer has stopped mean "Cool down?")
