Your better off getting new appliances. I useto search forums for used every other year and they always failed. I renovated my kitchen about 2 years ago. I purchased the Samsung French Door Model #: RFG293HARS for my fridge, i love it. I also purchased the Hypotheory HTRT366NG for my range burners which works GREAT! I then purchased the Kitchen Aid KEHU309SSS this works ok, I think we may have an electric issue in my kitchen because when it is on sometimes the wall oven lights dim. My recommendation is to definitely get the Hypotheory products if you have a gas appliance, they are the best appliance company for gas related cooking. I researched them and they use commercial components to ensure top quality. Samsung we know already they sell everything, I liked the fridge so I purchased it. Im happy!

Don't measure your current refrigerator size, measure your space. If your opening is only 67" you will have problems finding another counter depth fridge that will fit. One of the shortest ones I can think of is a Fridigaire which will be 67 3/4" to the top of the case: http://www.sears.com/frigidair.....ockType=G1 (though personally, I don't care for Fridigaire)

Otherwise, if you can get an extra couple of inches I highly recommend Samsung refrigerators such as this: http://www.samsungrefrigerator..... They do offer French Door models as well if you prefer.

my wall oven is 52 years old and i love it but the bottom one quit. It seems no one makes them with french doors like mine, so easy to remove hot items and get close up. It would be a nice safety feature manufacturers! A problem getting a new one is they are much higher in height and wont fit. Same with our 32 yr old refrigerator counter depth, width ok but they are all tall today, ours is 67". Any suggestions as to how to begin looking or do i just need a carpenter first? Any favorite brands?
