I also have a Kitchen Aid mixer that I use all the time, I have only had mine for 21 yrs, works like a charm

I thought I would eventually buiy a large cheese grater as Mexican food requires a lot of cheese in its cooking. However, I ended up keeping my mixer for grating cheese. Hi, I'm glad you like your kitchenaid.  I have one that I like a lot too.  I've been looking here and at other sites and see lots of comments about Kitchenaid products.  One thing I found it that Kitchenaid is not made by the same people who made it back in the '70's.  I think it was sold to some other company.
