Hey,

I am about to start renovations to a federation style home's kitchen. I want to take it back to more original fixtures/ fittings etc.

I really like the Ilve Nostalgie oven / stove (freestanding - not sure what other countries call this but it has 6 gas burners on top and an electric oven) - looking at 1200mm version. (Ovens are 700mm and 400mm) ( I know that's only 1100 but that's their stats!)

BUT it is SOOOOOOOOOOOO expensive! ( Like $16 000!!!)

Has anyone any ideas for me about less expensive but still very wide ovens in an old style? I would ideally like matt black or at least cream colour and I don't want cheap rubbish that won't last - I can't affors to do this more than once.

I am in Australia.

Thanks in advance for any advice!
