Most likely the problem is a bad damper control. It comes as a part of the control box kit what makes the repair more reliable.

I take it you did not open the freezer at all? The only other thing is that they have a switch in the back of the freezer section, that the drawer the ice bucket is on, hits. May have had something [back of drawer] not engage that switch.

Hi - I have a 3yr old Jenn-Air french door refrig. I cleaned out the refrigerator part and now the ice maker located in the freezer wont work. The temp of the fridge became high during the cleaning. Wondering if the line to the freezer ice maker froze. The water dispenser in the fridge is working fine. Yes, I lifted the wire in the ice maker up and down to see if that would do anything. Nothing. Help!
