I didn't know that you could even get ice machines for home. Are they like the ones you see at hotels, but smaller? Now you've made me want to go read about them. What happened with the second one? did you return it?

We bought a Franklin Chef ice machine for our kitchen and it stopped working after about 6 weeks. It was replaced by another unit and that unit has never produced ice. Has anyone else used any of this manufacturer's products? with success?
