I can't beleive that CR did not recommend anything. There is (I think) only about 2-3 OTR manufactorers around. Everbody buys one of them and sticks there name on it. Right now about everyone is having magnetron tube issues (tubes burning out, shorting out). I would stick with the “Name Brand” models so when you need serive you can get it.

Do you mean CR does not recommend any over the range micro at all?  Why?

HELP…………..

I checked Consumer Reports, only to find consumers saying what CR recommended, they DID NOT!

I am looking to replace our over-the-range microwave, any suggestions of a reliable, even-cooking, easy install, easy use, with a good strong handled one?

Quick responses are greatly appreciated.
