Bummer!! If I were you, I would approach the dealer again who sold you the fireplace. It is in his best interest to do whatever he needs to do to satisfy you, his customer. He should be contacting the manufacturer and making sure they send a new remote, since you are a under warranty. If they don't comply, the dealer, or you should be contacting the Better Business Bureau. Good luck, I hope you get your remote soon.

The remote control for this fireplace was defective. Dealer took back remote months ago, but manufacturer is dragging its feet replacing it. Still no remote, and no way to turn on fireplace.
