I used to sell LG. People think they are getting a quality product with them, but they are honestly not. It is Korean made with very cheap materials. It is not built to last and the customer service is horrible. I actually had someone buy a new LG washer and dryer and replace them the next month because they were so fed up with the units.
I always tell people, stay clear of LG products if you can. Especially for important areas like refrigeration and laundry.

In my area we “had” 2 differant people running service for them now we have none, seems they owe one of these people money for service they ran for them. A Lot of money. I had a dryer, older model, for a customer, and I can not find any parts for them anywhere.

We bought it 8/05 and it started falling apart in '09. This might seem old but would think a frig costing >$2,000.00 would last quite a few years without falling apart

We have an LG 3-door refrigerator that is falling apart. The main shelf has collapsed, the drawer fronts cracked and fell off/apart, and the drawer rollers are a real struggle to open and use. We spent a lot of money on this frig and are extremely disappointed and frustrated. I am trying to send a letter to someone at LG but can't find any accurate, detailed email or mailing address. Not sure if anyone else has had experience with this problem.
