Help! I am heading out the door later today to shop for a new washer and dryer. I want to stay in the $450 and below range for each. I am confused with all of the different brands, performance, etc. Any help on choosing? I want dependability above all else!

I'd avoid Maytag. They are not the machines they used to be. Not made like they were in the good ol' days.
