I have had this problem with every dryer I have ever owned. Even though I clean the filter before every use.

The lint that accumulates past the filter,  is lodged mostly, way down in the left lower part of the drum.

After a year or so it becomes enough to start pushing the filter up, out of its position.

I have had to use a flashlight and hooked wire to clean all the lint out. There is a lot of it.

Is there a way to take apart the dryer to get to this lower area ? Would it be advisable to take the rear of the unit off ?
