I just got a new sumsung microwave in Jan. and the handle in which I thought was metal by the look and feel of it has broken, and I found a piece in the floor, at first I thought it was a piece broken off of one my son's toys, until I reached to open the microwave and found it was broken in pieces at the bottom of the handle. I also noticed that there was steam showing up ocassionally in between the glass on the door. We called the company and they told us the handle wasn't covered and to get a repairman to come look at the door. I don't want to pay for a repair man to come to my home and me be responsible for the bill, when none of the problems is my fault and whoever heard of everything but a doorhandle not being covered. Does anyone know how to handle this company without such complications? I'm thinking of telling good house keeping magazine and see if they will talk to the company. I just don't like to be took advantage of and I'm new to these kind of problems and besides that microwave cost around 300.00 we got it at lowes.
