Thank You ServiceTech – I'm putting a new oven in the space where we had a cupboard. I'm replacing a slide-in range. I just thought it would make the kitchen hot. Now I have a fan over the range that helps.

I have never seen a “WALL OVEN” that vents to the outside [maybe a few of the older higher end units] . I have seen “Over The Range Microwaves” that vent to the outside, as well as standard vent hoods. It probaly depends on what you have now. If you don't have one now, that vents to the outside, the cost to put in a outside vent will probaly be pretty high. The difference is inside vents just recirculate the air, outside vents removes the air to the outside.

Looking for a new wall oven, I see that some vent into the kitchen and some don't. Why are they different and can someone tell me which is better or if it matters?
