I also have a problem with ice build up in the bottom of the freezer section of my Bosch KGU34121GB/02 fridge freezer. It is so bad i am unable to get the bottom drawer in position. Has anyone any solution?

On most of them they have paid parts and labor.  Customer number  is 1-800-374-4432. Make sure you get the Model and Serial numbers off machine before you call.

Yes- it is a frigidaire!  So do you thnk I can call them and they will will send me a repair kit?  Or will I have to pay for a service call?  Is this a repair a handy person could do themselves?  We're willing to do it ourselves- maybe.  I don't have model or serial numbers right now.  Thanks.

What brand are we talking about?   Do you have model and serial?    If its a Frigadaire [only brand I'm around ]  they have had some problems with air movement, and the same problems you are having, ice around top of door,  and have kits to repair same.

replace the door gasket- it is leaking outside humid air into the freezer cabinet where the ice is forming. also be sure if you place objects on the top of the Freezer, that nothing falls down and gets caught between the gasket and the cabinet when the door closes

I have an upright freezer in my garage that is supposed to be frost free, but gets  a line of ice at the top where the door touches the freezer.  It melts and drains onto the floor.  Luckily it's just the garage, but this doesn't seem right.  It's only about 2 years old.

Anybody know if this is normal?  What should I do?
