I just took my frigidaire fridge door off. It looks like the holes for the bottom door hinge weren't located in the propper place.(It doesn't take much to make a difference). I filed the upper hinge a bit so I could adjust the door more, It seems to have helped, guess I'll see if it works.

the only thing on our fridge door are magnets which are only used for display. I would have used them for sticking notes but I have never had a situation where I had to stick one. on top of the fridge are lots of things though, boxes, vase, and some other things

Look at the bottom part of the door there should be some kind of washer [plastic] or plastic thing that looks like a ramp thing. If you still see a washer at the bottom you can raise the rollers or legs on the front some, do it till the door shuts on its own. Also as the previous post said, make sure nothing in the door is hitting the shelfs inside the unit.

Maybe you just have too much stuff on the door weighing it down.

I've got this old (about 10-15 yrs) kenmore fridge.  Its real small.  The door only closes nowif we go over and push it.  It used to swing shut by itself, but now we always have to check it.  I tried a little grease but that didn't work.  Last night the door got left open for like 4 hours!  It stays open just like 3-5 inches, but we always have to go push it shut.  What can I do?  Thanks.
