Sorry I misunderstood. It sounds almost like you got some type of vent problem. Ovens will have vents on the inside walls and back to direct hot air away from some things and for the fans to work better. BUT If it just started I can only venture a guess and  would say it has to do with the display/control panel. I have never had an oven act like this. Most of the display/control panel is run on very low voltage usally D/C. I have had a couple of the older units get warm but not hot. I would advise a call to Bosch customer service. I think a lot of the units still have a 5-year warranty on electronics (at least the parts) Please keep me up on this.

That's horrible. You should better call an appliance repair services for that matter. That's a serious one already.

Oh, and the fan does stay on for a while and cool off the ovens.  I have also discovered that the panel only heats up when we use the top oven, not the bottom one.

SErvicetech:

The problem is not the oven itself staying hot, but the electronic control panel heating up AFTER the oven(s) have cooled down. The panel can get so hot that it is almost too hot to touch.

thanks.

There should be cooling fans that blow while the oven is on, some will stay on after the oven is off. Sounds like you have some sort of fan problem. If you post the model and serial numbers I'll look more into it.

I have a Bosch double wall oven that is about four years old.  About six weeks ago, I noticed that the touch panel for turning on the ovens and using the timer heats up after the oven has been turned off and the ovens themselves haved cooled off.  The panel gets very hot to the touch, almost too hot to touch, but nothing is on. What could this be?

Thanks in advance for your help!
