Steam mop is the worst for hardwood floors. the vapor of the stemer destroy the wood and take off the paint. We use Murphy Soap Oil and a cloth, that's all.

I think the moisture will be too much for that type of floor.  The seams might start to separate.  The floor would buckle after a while.

Target is advertising those steam floor mops.  They say it can be used on sealed floors.  Does anyone know – can I use it on my laminate floor – it's called a “floating Floor” it's like Pergo but made by some other company.  Thanks.
