Most Electric coops will come and do a energy assessment on your home. [At least here in the Midwest] And I think they don't charge for them. They will give you a pretty good assessment of what all your problems are.

My daughters/familiy electric bill has jumped. The bill says she is using 104% more lectricity than this same period last year. The only change made in the past year was a new thrmostate installed last Aug. Any suggestions on how to determine what is the cause?
