Just an addition, you can use WD-40 for your fan. Spray it to the bearings and axcell for less friction.

I think you need to oil your fan because that was also our problem before and it was solved by putting oil on the bearings. Please stop from using the fan until it is not working well because that problem can burn the motor of the fan.

Hi all,

I have a Westinghouse three speed ceiling fan, abour three years old in a bedroom. The third speed, which is the slowest speed, wont work. I can hear power going to the unit when it has been pulled on to the 3rd speed, but the blades wont work.

Any way I can fix this thing?
