Of course, there may be a short circuit in wiring to the big burners.
It is possible though, that the fuse is of the improper rating.
. . If the fuse blows when the burners are not turned on, it must be a short circuit.
It could be in the feed to either or both burner switches,
or the branch to one burner switch.. . If it does not blow
when only one burner is turned on, but does on the other,
you can guess where the trouble is. If it blows only when both are turned on, it
is likely that the fuse is of too low a rating.

My mailmate stopped working about the 2nd time of use. No jam, no warning, just turned itself off and no more shredding. My mailmate doesn't have a reset button on the back. The only flippy thing is where the trash receptor slides in. I took too long to return item. My fault but heck, I don't normally plan on buying junk. Grrrrrrr.

Same problem!!!!
Mod 110.27032603 bought Oct 2007
F1 code everytime it adds water. Takes 5 resets to finally continue on normal cycle.
Called Sears, had to listen to a 3 minute commercial about how I "won" a bahama's trip...I just had to pay a small fee. Then it told me to call a different number and cut me off.
Everyone at Sears gave me the obligatory apology, then only offer various ways of payment.
With ALL these complaints you'd think Sears would want to do something! Wouldn't even give me a break on the part. Had to virtually fight with them to only sell me the part. They were insistant on sending a serviceman. My 2nd unsuccessful call lasted 39 minutes and resulted only in frustration.
At the end of this call they had the B__ls to offer me a free appliance inspection (to see if they could sell me some new appliances)
I'm DONE with SEARS!

If your dishwasher is not on the recall list, I found a video on YouTube that shows how to repair a control board with a bad relay! The board being repaired has a 6V relay. Mine uses a 6V relay too and the R46-5D12-6 relay fixed it. If your board has a 12V relay, then the R46-5D12-12 relay would be the one for you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jb8gAnMb2zQ

We are in the process of having a Fridge picked up by the City early in the morning. If I set the fridge out without taking the doors off am I breaking the law? Since the unit employs a magnetic strip seal -- could be opened from the inside. I would not think that would be breaking the law. However should a child enter and close the door -- as in hide and seek -- the limited oxygen supply in the airtight cavity could become quickly depleted and suffocation would occur. So I have removed the door seals. The doors have been taped shut..

I have an EL1000B Electrolux stick vac which I have owned for several years, noticed recently that there does not seem to be any suction on the unit(s), Contacted Electrolux who advised me that the batteries eventually loose power and I would need to purchase a new battery unit at a cost of $94. Meanwhile after some research found this web site concerning recall. My serial number does not fall into the categories noted, but it is a 9.6 volt. I would think that the company would recall all of that model numbers regardless of serial number. any one have any suggestionsl

I have this blender and have seldom used it, until two weeks ago when I discovered that drinking green smoothies is a great way of improving your health and losing a few pounds at the same time. I have only used leafy veggies and soft fruits with some water, and the knobs broke one by one. Searching the internet learned that this is quite common with Kitchenaid blenders and that the coupler can be easily replaced. So I ordered a new coupler for a few dollars on eBay and replaced it last night. I now barely dare to use the machine and blend my smoothies now pulsing at large intervals. I am so disappointed, I thought this machine would last a lifetime and I am sorry I ever bought it. It is bound to happen again sooner rather than later, so I'll probably order a couple of parts in advance.

I purchased an Electrolux double wall oven under warranty Sears (who I bought it from) came out several times to repair the oven and each service tech admitted no one knows how to fix these I contacted sears and they said they no longer sell the product I contacted electrolux and they said at my cost they would diagnose the product with no guarantees I told them the product is a lemon and they said its not their problem unless i was willing to pay to have them come out I have spent several days having this product repaired taking off of work for repair service I thought Electrolux would back their product but they basically said it was my problem So much for customer service I am still having the same problem since day one Unless someone else steps up to bat I plan on letting the public know not to purchase this very expensive yet pretty unreliable product
