Try getting them to fix this problem, I have been trying to work with them for the last month getting it resolved and keep on getting different answers from different people. Has anyone had any luck getting theirs fixed or getting a replacement?

Ann: Yes your unit is affected, as clearly listed in the recall notice. It is within the serial number range “612TAxx00001~20400″.

The rest of you people are all idiots. What’s the problem, can’t read? The affected model numbers are VERY CLEARLY LISTED IN THE RECALL NOTICE. Take 5 seconds to read it and you’ll see that no LG dehumidifiers are listed, just Goldstar and Comfort-Aire.

Jim, Lorraine, and Marcus – your dehumidifiers are BROKEN and need service (if under warranty) or replacement. Look in the User Manual for information on duration of the warranty and how to get warranty service. Also go through the troubleshooting section of the manual to be sure you haven’t missed anything obvious. If you don’t have a manual you can download one from the LG web site.

I have a LG Dehumidifier that doesnt seem to collect water. My basement is very wet. Model # is; LHD65EL. Serial# is; 502TAFZ21019. Is my dehumidifier part of the recall? please e-mail me back and let me know.

found this web site with recalls for LG. My Dehumidifier is an
LG Serial # 411TAQP19556. Model # LD40EY5 … Please advise thru e-mail if this is a recall unit or not.. Will not collect water. Please advise me of any info to get this unit working again. Lost
booklet for it. Thank You for4 your help.
