I have this same model waffle maker. It makes great waffles. My unit's top plastic part that covers the wires on top near hinge has clips broken off now the unit looks like a safety hazard with wires visable thru metal opening where, is there a way to get a replacment part? Looks like the part just clips onto the top metal and the clips are broken on my unit. The unit is not three years old yet and the Serial# is 20902.

Thank you,
Ted Marti
