		<description>I definitely agree with number 2.  Who can live without a microwave?  Do you recall the days when hot chocolate was made by warming milk on the stove?  Archaic!  Due to evening household chaos, I try to make dinner earlier in the day and the microwave is also my saving grace when everyone is hungry.  

I would also like to make a plug for the stand mixer.  After years of gracing the inside of my pantry, and a few years of collecting dust on my counter, I have broken out the Kitchen Aid.  Amazing how many uses I have found for it in the past few weeks.  I didn&#039;t realize how often I mixed things!  Now I use it for everything from cake mixes to a bowl of eggs to be scrambled for dinner.  Very handy!</description>
