I got my fan in my-birthday I think around one or two yrs. ago but the soon I used it gets hot on the outside plastic yellow and I stopped using it. But since it was a gift i was kind of shy to return it I wish someone answer me back from this company I heard there is a recall on this fans my phone # is (915)xxx-xxxx in TX.Thank you Maria Flores.

My feeling is that it is worth contacting the Holmes Group and seeing if they can help you. They can’t offer a refund or replacement if you don’t ask, so give it a try. If you call the company without success, it might be worth it to give it a second try through their website. All you have to lose at this point is a little time. Good luck.

I purchased a holmes tower fan model #HT38. WITH FOLLOWING #S e90368 4805. aFTER 3 WEEKS IT QUIT OSCALATING. tHEN IT CAUGHT ON FIRE. i DIDN’T SAVE MY RECEIPT AND i THREW OUT THE FAN FOR SAFETY REASONS BUT WAS WONDERING WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT. i PAID 24.95 PLUS TAX FOR THIS FAN AND ONLY GOT TO USE IT FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS
