I had an old Braun immersion blender (Model 4185/545/NOM 176, made in Spain) that I only started using it a lot recently. I like it EXCEPT that the stick part is "sloshy" - I shake it and there's water in it, with no ability to drain it out. I worry about how sanitary it is. Does anybody have similar experience?

I bought the Braun 400 Watt blender as a gift for my friend in September of 2008 for $60 plus shipping on Amazon. The same product, with no apparent changes is now $179.95. Do you have any idea why the product has TRIPLED in price?!?!

How old is it? If it is out of warranty, you can take it to any local small appliance repair shop. Sometimes though, it can cost more to fix than to buy a new one.

Hello,

Yes, the immersion blender is great. But where do I take it to have a loose connection inside the handle repaired?
